This GPT Instruction is for the Master Boot Drive which allows your hard drive to detect greater than 2TB. I will add in instruction for secondary drives later!

Step-by-step guide

  1. First boot into Windows Installation Screen.
  2. Press shift+F10 to bring up the command prompt during installation screen.
  3. Type in DiskPart to go into Diskpart.
  4. List disk to see what drive you will need to select to format.
  5. Clean the disk you want to set for GPT.
  6. Type convert GPT to change it to GPT



You are done! Now modify the disk size to your specifications.
